It's terrible. I still have lots of unread DTBs at home, too, but the obsessive buying there became heavily restricted as I physically ran out of space. With ebooks... yeah. There's a reason I'm in the addicts' thread and am actually trying hard to curb the habit.

In my defence, it's the only hobby I currently have left, now that I don't watch TV (and have stopped buying DVDs which I'll not watch anyway). I'm so glad I never got into computer games beyond small casual things like Plants vs Zombies or some hidden object games.
It's also my primary hobby--especially right now, due to health issues. Every other pastime has gone by the wayside; reading is portable and stress relieving, so every "spare" minute ends up with a cup of tea and an open Kindle.

Then again, I've always been a ridiculously heavy reader. I don't do much TV, especially in winter when there's no baseball, don't watch movies, and all my gaming is little stuff on the iPad that doesn't take up much time or money.

My 160 or so book TBR pile is at most, a year's worth of reading in a slow year--IF I ever buckled down to reading only those books. Like that'll ever happen!
