Yes, I know, but all of the books from this site are from the big 5. So it is correct to say that you can only buy from Amazon for a Kindle (With the possible exception of Tor books although I haven't seen them offered as mobi anywhere so they too are probably ePub or Amazon).
To be more accurate It's incorrect to say you can only buy books for the Kindle from Amazon but factually correct to say you can only buy
these books from Amazon. So, although its technically incorrect, it's correct enough for my liking and probably saves a lot of confusion. Sort of the reverse of how the Jetbook Mini was advertised as being able to read ePubs, mobi, rtf etc (with the small print saying that you had to convert them to fb2's first).
