I wanted to nominate one of the books listed in the
2014 Romance Recommendations thread, but which one? Without looking, I decided to select the one with the highest Goodreads rating that I haven't read. It is The Last Hour of Gann by R. Lee Smith, a sci-fi romance, with a Goodreads rating of 4.35 and recommended multiple times in the Romance discussion thread. Available at Amazon, B&N and blushingbooks.com.
