On the contrary, a cheap good-quality reflective LCD display would bring a real revolution to laptops and tablets. I would love to have such a display on my laptop!
There are readers with B&W reflective LCD screens - eg the Jetbook range. They have poor contrast compared to eInk screens, and are difficult to read in poor light.
