Moved posts to their own thread. Next time start a new thread instead of hijacking an existing thread. Your problem is in no way related to the previous thread. The other thread was about a Linux upgrade that caused problems with covers showing in the GUI and yours is about a Windows 7 box having problems with covers showing in the viewer.
