It was not designed for that. I think they could make it as powerful as your notebook, but then reader's battery life would be 5-6 hours instead of 2 weeks?
Oh, it's powerful enough. Any problems are software, not hardware related. I recently posted a message about how I got several thousand books to load on mine, and I haven't noticed any difference in my battery life at all.
