THAT is exactly the feeling this whole thing inspires...
It's as if there are no boundaries, no limits, nothing...
I was making a joke last month when I played the theme song from "Rocky," but... but... but... it's real!

And now there is another idea wiggling around my brain; Modern Pentathlon. I'm a fencer. Again. I've taught equestrian, so a 12-15 obstacle jumping course wouldn't present undue problems. I had to do a timed 500m swim to get my certification as Dive Master, and an even faster one for certification as Master Scuba Diver. 10m pistol shooting... I can keep all the shots in the black already. All I need to do is tighten the group into the 10-ring.

The only problem would be the 3k run... I've never been a long-distance runner. Ever. Even as a kid I was just a sprinter. Cross-country skiing gave me the endurance for 18k races, but I always finished near the end of the pack. In fact, for the last 18k race I was in, if I hadn't tripped the little old lady in front of me with my ski pole, I would have come in dead last. But I was still a cigarette smoker in those days... Who knows? This may be a new challenge for me. It's at least worth thinking about.
(I can see KindleKitten sitting there chanting; "Go! Go! Go!" )
