take out the SD card & test that in another device. maybe the SD card has died & the reader is unable to boot while there is an unrecognised card in the slot. (an SD card can fail at any time with no warning & become junk )
(It's more likely though that the whole thing is bricked; the real question then becomes how many hours do you want to spend trying to repair when you could get a cheap replacement from ebay instead ???
