I cannot seem to be able to delete the empty entries, other than going back into my library and deleting them one by one.

Is there a way to get rid of the bad book entries without manually removing them one at a time?

Thanks! I hope this makes sense. I am using the Windows version, but ran into the same problem with the Mac version.
If you have that problem on 2 OS: YOU are not using calibre correctly
If you copy Libraries back and fort between Windows and MAC/Linux, you will have filename Case problems at some time:The report shows both Missing and Extras

Calibre is the ONLY way to delete/rename managed books (those in the Library folder)
