It looked good to me too, so I started a chat with Amazon. I started the chat with

She told me that I would only be charged the $.99 when I purchased it. I asked her to stay with me while I did. I was charged the $4.99. She then cancelled the order.

After that, she gave me a $4.00 credit and then had me purchase the book again, making my net cost $.99.

So I ended up with it for $.99, but it took a very long time to get it done. She had to leave the chat for long periods to find out what to do.
