Hi davey and welcome!

I've had my Kindle now for about a month. I don't know how I ever got along without it!! I really do love it. I was a little worried about both the "next page" button and the cover, having read so many negative things about them. I've been pleasantly surprised to find out that both are non-issues for me. I keep the Kindle in the cover while reading--as recommended--and that seems to solve 1/2 of the button problem. The other 1/2, I learned pretty quick. Put the thing to sleep BEFORE you do anything else like turn off the power.

As for the cover--I've had it fall out once while reading in bed and turned the Kindle too far horizontally. Someone else here recommended "gluing" the Kindle into the cover with 3M Command (I think that's right) as opposed to velcro. I really haven't found the need to do even that.

Anyway, have fun here at MR!

Regards,
R.L.
