Howdy!
Hi there. My friendly UPS man will be delivering a Kindle tomorrow, my first eReader. I'm not sure if the Kindle is going to be my ultimate reader of choice, but it seems like as good a start as any.
I've wanted an eReader for some time but just didn't think that I could grow to love a 6-inch screen. The iRex DR1000 seems more to my taste, but it looks like it's got a few growing pains to get through first.
So I'll give the Kindle a try. After the usual stuff, I suspect my main questions will be on DRM for mobi books. Assuming that I may get another eReader later on, can I buy Kindle ebooks from Amazon and get them on to my other reader? Or should I buy regular mobi ebooks, say from Mobipocket.com, and get them onto my Kindle?
Glad I found this forum, as it looks like the answers are all here.
