My dad had a Fiat, here up north. It was in 72. The car was not at all designed for winter use. It died (again my fixation on giving life to inanimate objects ) a horrible death by corrosion. The ordeal lasted almost two years at roughly 40thousand km.
Even the steering wheel's heavy plastic envelope cracked at minus 40 one morning. Two years later, Fiat got out of Canada for good, never to come back. It's a shame because they make pretty decent cars nowadays... and cute!
