If the books really do have DRM still on them, and were readable on your eInk Paperwhite, then something is amiss. What you need to do _first_ is go have a talk with your friend Alf. The folks monitoring there can usually help. There can be lots of reasons for issues, but, as fidvo points out, we can't discuss DRM removal in this forum at all.
