As for XP and its potential vulnerability post April 1: XP won't magically change overnight but the attacks are always changing and XP will no longer be being updated to protect itself.

Thanks latepaul. I've got a while to get used to Linux and there's lots of tutorials, so I'll just pick it up piece by piece. And I really do like XP so maybe I'll just go on using that too. Appreciate the advice.
