I have been given a Kindle Touch (after yrars of using several K3B, had 5 killed under me) and I have a problem, in that the KT will not automount under Linux.
Symptoms:
When I connect the USB cable, the KT goes in "USB Drive Mode", I know the computer (more or less) "sees" it since a # dmesg | tail gives me the following
Code:
[77374.080320] usb 3-1.3: New USB device found, idVendor=1949, idProduct=0004
[77374.080329] usb 3-1.3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3

[77375.093418] sd 19:0:0:0: [sdg] Attached SCSI removable disk
but the KT does not show either in Calibre, or in /media.
I have tried to reboot it with ";urst" as per
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=178930 but while all the loaded books disappeared from the KT, it still wont automount.
Any idea ?
