Yes, Sony did slide bars are best I have seen displaying enough of what your searching for you to see how close you are in your scan. This is much like fanning top edge of dictionary with words shown at beginning and end of each page. Library can be sorted by Author, Title, Recent Read.
But, search function is better when you know author or title of book.
