Alice blue is a pale blue named for the oldest daughter (the only child of his first marriage) of President Theodore Roosevelt. She apparently selected it when presented with some new fabric colours, and it was named in her honour. The OED says she wore it at her father's inauguration ball in 1905.
The song "Alice Blue Gown" was written for the musical
Irene, which opened in 1919, later had a couple of film versions, and was revived in the 1970s.
