K2--arrived a week after release. Still working, in the hands of a friend.
Touch--a month or so after release. Still working as a backup.
PW2--couple of weeks past release. No issues.
While I treat my devices with some care, I don't baby them. The two older Kindles were caseless (sleeves for travel). The PW2 only has a case because of the magnetic open/close feature.
(And to be fair, three family iPads since first release, and five of six iPhones have ALL been problem free. One iPhone 4 suffers from home button failure. Either we're remarkably lucky, or the devices are reasonably well built.)
