@Arrest: Neat! And thanks, I wanted to do just that the minute I had to port sysv init scripts to upstart, but the upstart version bundled on the Touch didn't support the depgraph thingy, and I don't have any other box using upstart, because I hate it with a fiery passion ;p.

A good reference, you might want to link to it somewhere in the wiki and/or master index .

And, yeah, sshd, vnc, usbnetd & usbnet-autostart are from the lab126 iterations.

The ones from USBNetwork are usbnet-preinit & usbnet .


On a sidenote, note that lipcd starts in parallel with a whole host of crap (dbus_ready event), and said crap might actually need lipcd to run, so, beware. That didn't seem to cause any issue on the PW1, but with the faster CPU of the PW2, it might. (cf. the usbnet script for a half-decent workaround).
