Speed (responsiveness) and screen contrast are probably my top desires for improvement. It isn't as if I dislike my PW now but those are what will get me to upgrade. I find battery life and lighting uniformity acceptable.

There are other important improvements that don't drive my behavior but affect the E-ink market, IMO. I think improving screen durability (flexible screen) would be a big step forward in making e-readers more widely used. An easily replaced battery might be a related benefit, giving E-ink e-readers a wider appeal. When we buy a new reader after two to four years we might more usefully pass ours on to someone else (with an unbroken screen and a fresh battery).
