1. Yes. It's not all that much, those files are mostly pretty small ones. Actually, the PDF parsing part is just a small part of it and a lot of it is contained in a single file - libmupdf.so. But the interfacing between the different parts of the Koreader application is written in Lua, a scripting language which is JIT compiled from source code - so the various program source code files are in plain view, rather than compiled into a single binary object. That's just a part, though. Configuration files, stylesheets, the graphical icons you see - well, we simply don't hide it :-)

2. That will probably depend on your idea of entertainment :-) But better ask that in the KUAL thread. And wade a bit through this board and the index (sticky thread at the top)!
