At the moment I just use a sequence number (001, 002 etc)

I can put timestamp in the name with an existing AHK hotkey. Reason for asking was that most (maybe all) of the various restore facilities I use have timestamp either as the only or default identifier - its also an expectation borne of too many years messing around in computing.

Re auto checkpoints - something like Preferences->Plug-ins->show only user installed plugins would be nice. I assume the list would be presented in the sequence check points were taken.
