The surgery was indeed life changing. I've had glasses since I was about five, and don't really have any memories where I didn't wear them.
I never thought it would be possible, and in fact, the surgeon told me that three years ago, it WOULDN'T have been possible for my prescription. The technology just keeps improving.
For the first week, whenever I woke up and could see the alarm clock, I wanted to cry.
It was the best Christmas I ever had: a perfect beautiful baby girl and new eyes to see her with.
