I don't remember what I was using when I had to make the previously mentioned modification to the Qt5GuiConfig.cmake file. But it was definitely a newer version of Linux Mint where I did not need to make the modification anymore.

I haven't had much time to play with 5.2 to see if there's noticeable improvements (with respect to Sigil). But I know there's supposed to have been quite a few enhancements/bug-fixes to the QtWidgets modules in 5.2. I'm hoping for some better font-rendering (my Sigil menus look pretty horrendous even with Qt5.1.1 on Mint/Cinnamon), but I'm not holding my breath. Also looks to be a couple of extra modules to better integrate with native Windows code and native OS X code.
I probably wouldn't worry about it, though, if everything is working to your satisfaction.
