As somebody who hand-created his own ebooks, it would take me a few hours to support more hardware. Seems worth the trouble, personally.

Seeing the work that a web site maintainer seems to do to get a pleasing and useable display from HTML with four different releases of five browsers plus mobile users. you'll be lucky.
And though Amazon supplies a emulator that covers every Kindle model there seems to be no such thing for Nook.
