I have a couple of Kobos (Touch and Aura) and a Nexus 7 with the Kobo app. All have access to the same content, or at least that content that I want. However, I never use the tablet for reading books as my hands tire much too quickly due to the extra weight. The Kobos, on the other hand, work very well for me. YMMV, of course.
