Ignoring my subscriptions and the Baen bundle, I've only bought 2 ebooks so far this year:

Escape to Other Worlds by Jo Walton (£0.37 with a Kobo coupon)
Raising Steam by Terry Pratchett (£0.99 Amazon special offer)

Of course, we're only four days into the new year. And if we count subscriptions and the Baen Bundle, I've already spent $27.55 of my $40 budget for this month.

I suspect things may get tricky towards the end of January.

But both my purchases are from favourite authors at excellent discounts.
