Odd. Well maybe it was my computer or maybe a node between them and me was out of sorts. Who knows. It was strange to have that problem though. Usually when I buy a book from Amazon it goes through with no problem at all. And then it shows up in my kindle collection with no problem. Thanks for the feedback Alan.
