It doesn't usually tell you what devices it works on in advance. The good news is that all you have to do is go into your Kindle Library and request a refund. I usually get them the same day, but no longer than 3 days during the holiday season.
It's the magazines I've had trouble with. Haven't figured out how to download them and archive them yet.
