I have found nothing compelling in the newer FW's for the PW1, however I only read on it and don't use wifi features or dictionaries (I think there were some features that others found interesting with regard to dictionaries). The latest PW1 firmware can still be found at Amazon that you can manually download and sideload/install...don't worry about trying to upgrade to the wrong firmware and hurting your device, it just won't upgrade.

Yes, the Dev's here packaged up a single jailbreak for both devices...the Dev's here are excellent that way!. But always be sure to read EVERYTHING they post about their hacks before applying.

edit- If you are using USE_ALT_FONTS, NiLuJe has recommended removing it before upgrading firmwares as there is the potential for problems (then reinstall after upgrade).
