Sorry to hear that samhy. Such a frightening and frustrating thing to happen to a family member, as you feel so helpless to do anything after the event (I have had something similar happen to my brother, in which they stole his car and he got injured in the process). The needless violence is the worst aspect of it, in my opinion.
I hope all is well after tomorrow's examination.
