If you are intending the books to be used in the calibre viewer, use epub rather than azw3 and make sure each html file in the epub is not too large. You can do this by inserting page breaks in the html files, calibre will auto split on page breaks during conversion. Or use the edit book tool to manually split the epub after conversion.
