Happy New Year to you and everyone else here! I'm looking forward to another year of freebies, bargains and, wait for it, discussions!!

So, going back to Blossom's question, if I had to choose one book to encourage someone to read, it would be from my 2013 list (my head hurts at the thought of choosing anything from before then) and it would be The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley. It's a lovely historical with an unusual hero and I enjoyed it loads.

We are all so different. But we love our romance, our happy endings!
For ages I wanted to try Steampunk and when I finally did it was disappointing. But I think it was just that particular book and not the genre itself so I'm definitely open to giving it another try.
