Home to collapse after the 2 most exhausting days of the year for me at work - year end close out, part of which involves updating the payroll software (without any errors) for 2014 ... doubly challenging this year since NC completely revamped its payroll withholding system ..... on top of cleaning up the general ledger, solving all remaining problems for 2013, pulling numbers together for tax preparation, etc.
I managed to get enough done today at work to stay home tomorrow and sleep .... usually I have to go in on New Year's day to finish stuff up ...
You know you're too old for this crap when you actually look forward to being unconscious ....
[Good news though - my new B&D leaf blower/vacuum/mulcher arrives Friday .... just in time for the next arctic cold air blast ...]
