Sipping my first tea of the last day of 2013. My daughter will be carrying on a recent New Year's tradition of cooking dinner for all of us and having her best girlfriends (from 4th grade on) over for a sleepover. They're a good bunch so I don't mind surrendering the TV room to them.

Meanwhile, I'm very sure the weatherman didn't predict this snow!
