What is slow by the way? 2-4 seconds? 20 seconds?

You could always delete the associated lua-file in the history from windows. I have had a corrupted one due to SDCard failure and it make koreader act funny.
It takes ~30 seconds (slow count not stopwatch) after selecting it, first thing after powering up. I think all the covers may be what slows it down, I'll have to see if I can remove the covers and see if that makes a difference. Not that I am really bothered by the delay, for this one giant ebook, I know it is going to take that long and factor it in. If it were a common occurrence, I can see how it would be annoying.

Edit; I removed most of the covers and it loads in ~8 seconds. I do think the History entry is a factor though.

Luck;
Ken
