IHMO - avoid
plex like the plague until they fix/improve its use of app data. I added plex, on default scan settings, and it created, I kid you not,
a quarter of a million extra files/folders in app data.
it creates a folder + some files for each an every media item it finds on the PC, so if you ever let it near a large photo or music collection you get this huge bloat.
you get a folder somewhere in app data that has so many entries that win 7 will hang if you even just ask it nicely to count them for you & you have to use task manager to regain control.
not the sort of design & coding that Kovid would produce
