Quite a few questions from a new kindle owner
Ok, so I jailbroke my old kindle paperwhite (It did an auto update to 5.3.9 and the jailbreak on it was great) The screen cracked, and I returned it. I got another kindle, about 3 weeks ago, and I been so busy with school/work I rarely had time to even turn it on, let alone jailbreak it.
So I turn it on, notice it is stuck in diag. mode, and I start reading on here (I lurk this site like crazy) and notice there is no fix what so ever, from what I read, unless I get a sereal usb and make my own. (I am horrible at that kinda stuff) So I sent it back, got a new kindle, and now that I have free time, I want to jailbreak it, but before I do, I got a ton of questions.
1) What is the software update for the kindle paperwhite everyone perfers?
2) what is the jailbreak everyone perfers for the paperwhite?
3) If I brick this paperwhite, is there any possible way I can unbrick it with a regular usb port? Or do I need to make my own serial port?
If someone would like to work with me, on TeamSpeak, or Skype, please feel free to inbox me, I will be happy to chat there. My computer is a windows computer, I can install (And am willing to) a VM and get Linux for it, I am very rusty with Linux though.
I thank you in advance for helping!

EDIT: Yes I did uninstall the jailbreak before it was sent back, and yes the whole kindle was wiped lol. I do not like "big brother" knowing of any backdoors to anything.
