For anyone partial to Scandinavian crime, three of the first four books in Quentin Bates' Gunnhilder series are on offer at amazon.co.uk. I've only read the first so far but it seemed a pretty promising start to the series (only one is reduced on Amazon.com, book 4, Winterlude is $0.96).

Frozen Out (99p)
Cold Comfort (99p)
Winterlude (59p)

Edit: oh wait, just noticed the 59p/96¢ book is only a novella (Print Length: 60 Pages)
