With the default settings you should see a flash every 6 pages. This is normal with an eInk display. If you are seeing it every page, you might want to check your settings (settings -> reading settings -> Refresh the screen). If you are still seeing it every page, something's not quite right.

The Kobo Aura does things slightly differently using eInk's Regal technology where they play with how the ink capsules are toggled between black and white to reduce ghosting and reduce the need for page refreshes.
