The Simple Touch is a nice reader but I have to say that I'll never buy an ereader without a lit screen again. It makes a huge difference.
Still, they're so cheap! And they're touch screens which is another huge deal for me.
There is an on/off button in the top middle of the back of the STR so you'll want to clip the light slightly to the right or left.
I just got my Glowlight so I don't know how fragile the screens are.
