I'm trying to do some meal planning, which I've never done before, and I'm lost. Hubby does majority of cooking at home but I need to take more interest now because my doctor says I need to gain 10-15 pounds (BMI says I'm close to underweight). My weight hasn't shifted (up or down) more than 3 pounds in more than 20 years. I don't know how I'm supposed to do this. I can't eat large portions so I have to break up my eating times (breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, bedtime snack). All that eating; my stomach revolts at the thought of it

You can have some of my fat! I can spare 20 0r 50 pounds no problem.

You want to gain weight eat like we here in the south do. You will be at your weight in no time. It's not healthy eating but it will pack the pounds on you. Google Southern cooking and you will find all kinds of fattening recipes. You don't have to eat large portions either believe me you'll gain weight just smelling the stuff.
