It's not so bad. Asian bus travel 'can' be the old open rickety hot and dusty rides for 10 cents for 500k, or... the new VIP buses. Reclining seats with as much room as business class on a good airline, with air/con, first run movies, clean toilets, food served, etc... for 50 cents for 500k. No more water buffalo rides. How times do change!
