So as I sit here hacking (Coughing) on my sofa and realize there is only a few days of the year left. I did not reach my reading goal for the year thanks to real life. So now it's time to set a more realistic one in 2014. I think I am going to go with one book a week instead of two this time.

So do you set reading goals for each year? What will be the first book you plan to read in 2014 and why?

I am currently mentally gathering a list of books to read in 2014. I want to try out JD Robb and start Jill Shalvis Harbor series or Robyn Carr Virgin River. I haven't decided. I need to get back into Lara Adrain Midnight Breed series and maybe book 3 of the Psy-changling series.

My first book will probably be a Christmas book as I am still behind. The two I have to still read are Lori Wilde's A Cowboy for Christmas and Shannon Curtis's Christmas book in her McCormick Security Agency series.

I've got five chapters of Home for Christmas by Patrica Potter left. I just bought two LoveSwepts from the Escape Diaries series. They mention if you love Stephanie Plum you will like these so that's a 1 click for me.
