"The Golden Leaf," a posthumously published novel of Mr. Altsheler, is now a free ebook.

"Altshelers's Stories," a collection of 38 short stories, 2 articles, and some miscellany, has also been make available as a free ebook.

There will soon be 90 of Mr. Altsheler's titles available free at altsheler.woodwardworks.com (30 novels from six series, 20 novels not in any series, 38 short stories, and 2 articles from newspapers/magazines).

The list will continue to grow. Another novel and 6 short stories will soon be available. I plan to make then free as well.

The website is down while I create some collections (multiple books inside a single ebook). There will be a collection for each of Mr. Altsheler's six series, another collection containing all six series in a single book, and a collection of all the non-series books. It will take a significant number of hours on my computer to generate these collections, but I hope to have the website back up within the next day or so (say, before 12/29/2013).

These books represent everything I have been able to find so far of titles authored by Mr. Altsheler. I hope you get as much enjoyment from them as I have. I first read "The Young Trailers Series" in 1950, and I generally reread them every ten years or so.

Please pass the word about the free books at altsheler.woodwardworks.com
