I'm the same. I always like to start at the beginning. I bought The Redbreast years ago - I think it was one of my earliest kindle books - but I was never quite happy that it wasn't the real first book, so I didn't read it. I have now managed to pick up The Bat, which I will be able to read when I get round to it, and maybe the next one will be cheaper by then.  |
Yes, it will have to come down a bit in price. Or maybe they'll add a couple more copies at the Library. Right now they have only a single copy, which isn't enough from the looks of things. Or once Amazon in the US has it, that may tend to force pricing down a bit.
Some series I don't care about order. But in this one, I can see that there will be things related to Harry himself that encourage one to read in order.
