To all Laurann Dohner fans. I just found out that she has suffered a stroke. I will copy the update I just read.
Good afternoon, all. I want to let everybody know how Laurann is progressing.
She is continuing to improve. She has some weakness on her right side. But, she has already impressed the physical therapist with her determination. She is sitting up on her own and walking with minimal assistance. We expect her to be home in a day or two.
Once she is home, she will be having therapy for about six weeks. Laurann will be unable to travel for about six months. So, any travel plans are cancelled until the end of June. On an up note, we will be in Ohio for Romanticon in October. You didn't think a silly little stroke would keep her from that, did you?
Finally, to all of Laurann's friends and fans, I would like to say thank you. The many posts of support are already making her job of recovery and my job of caring for infinitely easier and we are both very grateful.
