I haven't purchased anything to speak of this month, been rather occupied by various events. Starting out with minor surgery and ending with hubby and family dog being attacked by a boxer mix.
My husband came out of the attack with cracked ribs ( from falling ) and a bite on his hand. Lady Lee our Aussie came off much worse, she has bites on her chest and right rear haunch. The bite on her haunch is open and draining for the next ten days or so.
Anyway, no books purchased and I am reading Lord of the Rings.
Oh Dear please tell me the dog had it's shots! OMG your poor hubby and I am guessing your puppy tried to protect him?

I am scared of big dogs because I had a mastiff corner me in the back of a working van once. My hubby nearly jump off the roof where he was working to get to me. The owner just laugh and told the dog to stop. Believe it or not though I was able to befriend a pit bull when we moved into this area 7 years ago. She kept me safe when we rented a house in a slum area. She stayed near me and slept on our porch. We called her Chewy because she ate everything. She belong to the people way up the road we was only there less than a month. The electricity was not up to code so when you use anything the light would dim to the point they seemed off and my PC would reboot over and over. We then found this little apartment were we are now and have been for the last 7 years. Two days after we left that house the place next door nearly exploded turns out it was a huge meth lab. It was a young couple with two young toddlers who ran it. Not a area you want to live in.

I hope your hubby is feeling better please keep us updated!
