We've had 5 eInk readers in the house - 3 Kobos and 2 Sonys. While my partner loves her Glo, I recently picked up an Asus Memo Pad HD 7 to replace my Sony T1, and I'd never go back to any of the current eInk devices.
Positives? Ability to switch to night mode, huge variety of reader apps, versatility of a tablet, bright, clear screen, and bang for the buck ($159 list in Canada is great value for the features the Asus sports.)
Downsides? Battery life and reading outdoors. Well worth the trade-off though, for my use.
